1. Verb Phrase
Verb phrase based on traditional grammar is a group of words in the form of the main verb (the main verb (and the auxiliary verb (auxiliary verb), while based on generative grammar is a predicate - main verb and all the elements that make it up: the auxiliary verb, complement (object sentences), and / or modifier, but not including the subject of the sentence.
 
Example : She has worked at the office since June.
 
2. Tenses
Is a form of verb tenses in English to indicate the time (present, future, or past) the occurrence of an act or event. In Indonesia, the 16 kinds of tenses in English.

·           Simple Present Tense
A tense is used to express the norm, facts and events that occur in the present.
Subject + Verb 1 + Object
Example : I speak english everyday        
·           Present Continuous Tense
A tense is used to indicate events that occur now or in the future plans as well.
subject + to be (am, is, are) + Verb – ing + object
Example : He is watching TV now
·           Present Perfect Tense
A tense is used to express events that have started at some point and lasted until now.
Subject + has/have + been + object
Example : He has been at home since morning
·            Present Perfect Continuous Tense
Tense is used to show the events that began in the past and continues.
Subject + has/have + been + V-ing
Example : She Has not been reading book for an hour
·           Simple Past Tense
Tense is used to express the events that have occurred at a particular time in the past.
Subject + was/were + complement
Example : I saw a movie yesterday
·           Past Continuous Tense
Type tenses are used to express that there are events that happened in the past and have not been completed.
Subject + to be (was/were) + verb-ing + object
Example : She was sleeping when I came
·           Past Perfect Tense
Tense is used to express the events that have occurred and have also been completed in the past

Subject + had + verb III + (past participle) + object
Example : She had gone to Australia when I called her
·           Past Perfect Continuous Tense
Tenses are used to indicate that an action has been completed before another incident occurs.
Subject + had + been + verb-ing + object
Example : He had been living in Jakarta about ten years
·           Future Tense (Present)
The type used to express future events, both planned (be going) or spontaneously (will)

Subject + will/shall + verb I + object
Example : We will go to school soon
·           Future Continuous Tense
Type tenses are used to express the events that will take place in the future
.
Subject + will/shall + be + verb-ing + object
Example :  I will be studying English tomorrow
·           Future Perfect Tense
Type tenses used stating that the incident would have been completed in the future
.
Subject + shall/will + have + been + complement
Example : I will have been in this hospital until tomorrow morning
·           Future Perfect Continuous Tense
Type tenses are used to declare an event in the future will have taken place.
Subject + shall/will + have + been + verb-ing + object
Example : I will  have been visiting grandmother tomorrow morning
·           Future Past tense / (Simple) Conditional
The tenses are used to denote the probability.
Subject + should/would + be + object
Example : She should be in Yogyakarta next month
·           Future Past Continuous tense / Conditional
Tense is used to express possibility that will be done through a process.
Subject + should/would + be + verb-ing + object
Example : My brother would be finishing Thesis last week
·           Past Future Perfect tense / Conditional
This tense is used to express possibility that would have been done by the subject.
Subject + should/would + have + been + complement
Example : Ani would have seen John if She had come earlier
·           Past Future Perfect Continuous tense / Conditional
Type tenses are used to express the possibility that would have been done for a while

Subject + should/would + have + been + verb-ing + object
Example : By last Saturday I should have been sailing for three days

3. Subject & Verb Agreement
Subject-verb agreement is the agreement between the verb (verb) with the subject of the sentence in terms of number, namely: singular (singular) or plural (plural). The subject can be a noun (noun), pronoun (pronoun), or other construction acting as a noun, such as the gerund and infinitive. Basically, the singular subject (single subject) using a singular verb (singular verb), while plural subject (subject plural) using plural verb (the verb is plural).
